Every static adaptation has been under dc comics. When originally created Static, Icon, and Rocket were apart of an indie publisher from black creators focusing on black characters. DC bought them in the 90’s.
Static Shock was in other popular dc shows so im pretty sure he's canonically a dc character
He is, Static was a member of the teen titans when they rebooted him in Dc universe, he was originally from miles stone but they got bought by DC

M'gann is using Martian Manhunter's civilian apartment. Her uncle is off world right now and his identity of John Jones is the black man. Man Sobe brings me back. I used to love getting a dozen bottles for $10 from Safeway. Static Shock was a great show with lessons in it.
Yeah, Season 2 is probably my favorite season. The finale 5 episodes are all absolute bangers imo. However, I wanna say that just because a lot of people shit on Season 3, don't go into it expecting a shit show. I thought it was gonna be "The Legend of Korra" Season 2 bad, but I'd personally say Season 3 of Young Justice is still on par with Season 1. Still, nothing compares to Season 2, and I can't wait to see y'all's reaction to the finale.

One thing I really like about Young Justice is that the villains manage to stay one step ahead of the heroes because they're smart and ruthless, yet they manage to not seem omniscient and the heroes do get to pull one over on the villains when the villains' hubris finally peaks.

I really hope that one day y'all react to Static Shock. The animation might not hold for some, but the story and some of the messages were really good .
static was part of milestone comics before dc acquired the character
Season two is by far the best season, I only wish they kept it going instead of being cancelled and brought back so many years later.
