This first episode is modeled after the Dick Van Dyke show. It was shot the same way, down to the live studio audience. All of the effects in this episode are practical. When Wanda makes the dishes float around in the kitchen in the beginning, it’s they’re actually hanging on strings that the crew is manipulating to move them through the air. When she changes her dress by snapping her fingers, it’s also a practical effect. They have her in the first dress, she snaps her fingers, then they stop recording. She changes into the second dress, a stands in exactly the same position, and they start rolling again. Old school shit. The Disney+ documentary on the making of WandaVision is excellent and includes information like this. After you watch the series, you should certainly check it out.

I do like the nice detail of them having the standard sitcom wideshot and then when things start to seem off is goes to more cinematic shots and angle's and even close-ups 🤔.

Man i'm loving the MCU/Super hero watch. Y'all should also watch THE BOYS!!!! It's a gritty dark superhero show with some light humor it would be perfect for yall and the channel if you havent watched it already its a masterpiece in its class

It did help for us watching weekly that Wandavision did release the first two episodes at once so it helped hook us in. Also for post credit scenes there's 1 after episode 7+8 and 2 after episode 9.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier was supposed to start phase 4 but bc of covid Wandavision came out first. Falcon and the winter soldier suffered a lot from the pandemic.

Is it bad the first thing I really honed in on this entire reaction is just that they use chatgpt instead of just googling it or asking actual people among the Billies? Idk if it's a hot take in the Billy army but chatgpt usage is kinda bad guys. Lot of power and water usage needed to run those things, like alot alot. Also being highly addictive and destructive to ones brain too (got personal experience in that matter. As well as research.)

    I mean, cool, I am aware I did such, however 1 is completely avoidable by simply... not going to it. The other is indeed to ingrained into everyday life to cut off. Sidenote, tryna say this don't fly here? By who's word? Yours? Didn't know u spoke for the comments but sorry sir. I won't share an opinion again. End of the day I just raised a concern I have genuinely researched into.

  Honestly i think its really cringe of them to constantly use AI to look stuff up, sometimes i've seen them get incorrect information because chatgpt is not as smart as they think it is, i like the crew but they're probably just gonna read this comment and go "fuck this guy i do what i want" instead of caring about why the constant use of AI is stupid (from what i've seen at least they don't take kindly to some criticism even if geniune). They've probably gotten the same comments about the AI usage i just don't think they care unfortunately.

  Google uses AI too. It's easier and faster than having to sift through several sponsored links, Google AI bot (which is usually wrong), and make sure I'm on a reputable website for the information before I say it out loud in a video.

    The unfortunate truth is more than half the time it's just not correct, and believe me I have alot of experience thanks to family members using chatgpt and the ai overviews on Google for everything. It's led to very negative results when using the "answers" provided.
