   Really happy you enjoyed this show so far Ruff. It's my favorite live action show ever and Damon is one of my favorite characters ever. He's so complex and I love it. So excited for ya'll to delve into the even better seasons (I'd personally rank S1 as one of the worst, not that it's bad obviously but the next several seasons are so freaking good and I can't wait to see you react to those

   SHE'S HERE!  my favorite villain and the reason i stopped hating on nina's acting. SLAY QUEEN, SLAY! literally. season 2 is going to be GAS! also, justice for bonnie! (though i know it wont happen cause of bts drama)

   Damon and Elena certainly have chemistry but its fucked Katherine coming in to play tricks on the whole relationship now lmao. I still hate the trope of the girl having to pick between 2 brothers like no one gives Stephan credit he's a good boyfriend and character to Elena

      Not really, Stefan stalked Elena for months, poke his nose in her very private life, introduce himself as a High school boy, started a relationship based on lies, slept with her before telling her about Katherine and  that he knew about her life more than she knew herself, manipulated, an gaslight her ore times that I can count, bamoth his brother to Elena at any given occasion, and tryed so many times to drive a wedge between Damon and Elena bond, manipulating her into his deciept, making Elena that is not a lair, to lie to Damon's face: And don't get me started on the reasons why he insert himself in her life, because e wanet to feel human and use her to for this purpose, because she is the good version of Katerine, and wanted to relive his relationship with her before everything went badly. And that is ONly the first season......there is so much more  bad boyfriend material, in Stefan that lead to a forgone conclusion that you know what it is.... 

      Also there is no usual trope of a girl between two boys here, they m anage to avoid it,  because it's more of a journey of discovery, for Elena to maturity, to understand who she is, what she wants, who she wants, how she see herself in her future life, for Stefan is a journey to self-awareness to get to true love whatever that is for, for Damon a journey to discovery of self-worth.

   the high school part of the series is simply there to build character relationships with characters that are not in the loop of the vampire mess

   I'll miss this show during the break but I definitely think a small hiatus is a good idea to keep everyone (you guys and us viewers) excited for more! Another show I think y'all (either you two or all of Sorta Stupid) would enjoy reacting to is the anime Fruits Basket, if you're taking recommendations. Sort of a slice-of-life show on its surface, but has a deeper mystery I think you guys could definitely get into!
