   During covid, I put myself through all 8 seasons and the spinnoffs out of sheer boredom. I will tell you right now, more of this show is bad then not. Fun bad, most of the time. But when it's not fun bad it is a slog to get through.

   So much nostalgia! I watched this with my Mom all the time growing up! (I probably shouldn't have, but that's another story) There is so much in this that I've forgotten.

   So Nina Dobrev was a Degrassi kid…which was a Canadian TV show which aired on The N/TeenNick which was a separate channel from Nick, and I’m only commenting this because I’m hyper-anal about Degrassi not being a Nickelodeon kids show. And her character was indeed a girl who got pregnant at 13/14. It’s a long ass show I might recommend for a watch or a poll appearance someday, because while it has no sci-fi, superhero, or horror elements, it’s the most unintentionally hilarious teen drama of all time.

      Okay I feel like a super nerd for commenting on every thing said in the video, but yes, this was a book series in the early 90s (like ‘91-‘93) which I think got a continuation once this series came out. The books are extremely different (some argue not as good, I’d argue just different), and the characters on the show match the book characters in name only.

   i am so happy ur reacting to this i never found any reactions to this series and its insane i know people say its drama and stuff but the plot is way more than this.. as me not loving love triangles i loved this show and is my favorite

   personally, I stopped watching after season 5 [mainly because that's when The Originals started and I prefer it] but I had a great time for the first half of the show

   I've been trying to decide if I wanted to rewatch and push myself to finish the last three seasons for so long, and it looks like yall decided for me instead lmao

    I can't believe i forgot that they had running up the hill in this episode! I mean it was a remake but still the song that stranger things made viral lol. One thing about TVD, Originals and Legacy is they always had banger music!

    you should react to the whole show and then continue with originals which is a spinoff and is much better and my favourite show of the franchise.

    YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! HELL YES! This is an amazing series, very corny at times tho. I have watched from episode 1 to the end 10 times over and spin-offs too (one spin-off is arguably better than The Vampire Diaries even). I even watched week to week on TV from season 6 to the end. This and Supernatural are my favorite 2 live action TV shows of all time. I have an episode list compiled that tells you how to watch this and the other shows so you can line up the cross over episodes. I love almost every CW show from this era. My sister even owns the books the show was based on because we love it so much.
