I've been quoting the "It's the end of the world, did you think it was going to be easy?" for years, without remembering what it was from, I've tried to google it several times and never found the source and then suddenly here it is.
season 4 was meant to be the final season but the popularity got a 5th season but season 5 wasnt considered very good, so no season 6
Im gonna let yall know, Teen Titans Go is funny af IMO after s2, but the prior seasons are also funny.

It is fun I just can't help but feel a little annoyed by it not by the show itself but because they decided to replace the original Teen Titans with it. And just because it is fun in it's own way that doesn't mean it still isn't a bit of a downgrade. I will enjoy Teen Titans Go as an occasional way to have fun wasting time but It's Teen Titans I will always return to and wish there was more to experience. Teen Titans Go does not deserve to be hated but I don't think it should have replaced the original.

i wouldn't hate teen titans go if cartoon network filled that shit in every day until CN died but it's surprisingly watchable, i'd say the movies and young justice are what you should watch first though

supposedly this season is what one of the producers (i think he was a producer) believed to be the reason they got cancelled; because it was deemed too scary and parents complained. either that or a rival toy company wanted them out of the game as their toys were selling too well, but i guess we'll never truly know.

A personal head cannon that helps with the “where are superman, batman, wonder woman, or the rest of the JL” question is that they’ve been off world for a long time or at least during the high stake events.
I assume they were turned into statues like the rest of the world, only reason the Titans and Slade weren’t was because they were shielded by Trigon’s own power(the Titans via Raven’s ability.)

I think this was their big finale but then the execs ordered more seasons, and then afterwards immediately scrapped them. So them being wishy washy is why this 3 parter was almost the true finale, right?

Since we’re coming up on the last season, just putting it back on your radar (in case it wasn’t there already) that the Trouble in Tokyo movie is the actual end of this specific iteration of Teen Titans, so it’d be awesome if y’all could watch that after Season 5 is over! I personally like the way Season 5 ends, and the movie feels more like a bonus epilogue than an actual narrative conclusion, but still important to watch just to wrap a few things up. Can’t believe it’s already almost over T__T

From how I understand the show runners knew it was cancelled in season 5, there were plans for a season 6 but when they were told season 5 was the last, that became it and concluded the story the best way they could in there.
If you do watch Teen Titans Go, there are lots of episodes, like SpongeBob as you said. The movies I would recommend are 'Teen Titans Go to the Movies ' which released in theaters funny enough, and Teen Titans Go vs Teen Titans.
Don't worry too much about next season not holding up, I think it's more consistent even if it doesn't reach these highs
So just to clarify, the team on this show just was not allowed to use any Justice League members, so unfortunately you kinda just have to excuse why the League wasn't called. It was the dumb Bat-Embargo law they had at the time, even if I believe the team said they probably wouldn't have done it anyway as it's a personal story between the Titans. But honestly 1 could just assume the League are fighting Trigon minions across the world too and they were to swamped to join the Titans.
Speaking of the Justice League if y'all liked the Trigon story and wonder what their involvement might look like might I suggest Justice League vs Teen Titans (2016) animated movie to the group.

so about what you said about trying to have the best final day: Something similar happened with me for my final s*icide attempt about 7 years ago. I felt trapped in my current situation because I had spent 11 years trying to transition and failing because of my living situation. Before I did it thought I decided that if I was going to throw my life away it would be on my terms. If the threat of being homeless was what kept me from transition then it was better than the threat of being lifeless so I decided to transition regardless. It was the second best decision I ever made- the first being leaving an abusive situation years prior.
I like to use my story as a means to inspire people who really feel like there is no other options but to give up- death is a permenant way of giving up- try something that is less permentant that can help you even if it risks the life you have because if you seek the alternative you are still going to loose it and have no possibilites for a better life.
The episodes were a little low volume wise. Got one more season and a movie to go and then we are done with this wonderful show.
