I love Steven Universe and I’m glad the Sorta Stupid crew liked it as well. I have a lot of shows I’d like y’all to watch, so having to vote for only one will be very difficult. Teen Titans (OG not Go!), Castlevania, Dragon Prince, The Boys, Danny Phantom, My Adventures with Superman, finish She-Ra, and so many more.

I do enjoy that steven universe future is actually forcing steven to confront his own problems. He is like his mom in every way. Except she started bad and became good through great effort. He started good and is progressively becoming worse than she ever was.
I hate that people think Rose is an irredeemable monster for the 2 maybe 3 things she actually did wrong versus the hundreds she did right but they'll still give a pass to the other 3 diamonds who have actually killed and shattered gems and destroyed hundreds of worlds

OK K.O. is a great show that was overlooked by many and then forced to end too soon.
And the 2012 Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show.
Those two shows are among my top 5 cartoons of all time
One thing I love about the Bluebird episode is that Steven finally has an "enemy" who hates him for him, and not because of what his mom did. The fact that I have to celebrate that illustrates just how much damage Pink Diamond did and how Steven processed it and feels so much guilt about something he himself didn't even do.

Personally I would like you guys to watch Craig of the Creek. It's severely underrated. The lore comes in during the second season and the story line is pretty good. It reminds me of early 2000s cartoons on cartoon network.
Also, if the option is there, I wouldn’t mind seeing you guys finish up She-Ra as a replacement ;)
If you’re looking for another show to replace Steven universe i’d recommend either infinity train, or Kipo and the age of wonder beasts. I think both are pretty underrated!
I’d love to see you all react to Danny Phantom. After Avatar The Last Airbender, it was one of the most popular Nicktoons. I’m sure you all would love it.
Also it’s be nice to see you all react to Code Lyoko. I know you all saw some of the episodes and made fun of their foreheads (I don’t blame you) but it is still a good show.
And for something coming out now, My Adventures with Superman has been pretty good. I’m sure you all would like it.
Also if you all react to the movie, Scott Pilgrim vs the World or read the graphic novels that the movie is based on, Netflix is releasing an anime based on the graphic novel in November. It’d be cool to see you all react to the series when it comes out ^^
Not gonna lie, I think a great show for them to watch after Steven would be My little Pony. Watching them become Bronies would be EPIC. Imagine all of their reactions to just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. Imagine once they meet Discord!! The debates they could have over who is "best pony". Sure, the first season is a little basic and geared towards kids but we all know the later seasons got DEEP. Then there's all of the Equestria Girls reactions that can come with it. The show is also full of amazing songs and creative villains. Just overall I think it would be a unique experience if they did react to it.

I’d love to see more older shows tbh. This September is gonna be the 30th anniversary of Sonic satam so that would be a cool time to check it out. Some other you might enjoy I think would be Reboot, Oban Star Racers, W.I.T.C.H. More Invader Zim episodes would be cool. Maybe you guys could react to different Halloween and Christmas specials? I love holiday specials
Like others have said Infinity Train is an amazing follow up to Steven Universe! It’s an anthology so you don’t even have to watch all the books when you start!

You guys seemed to enjoy how there's a little more fighting in Future. If that's the case, I think you'd like Star vs. the Forces of Evil. It's only 3 seasons with a completed story. I'd love to see y'all react to the craziness of that show.

I wouldn't mind finishing out She-Ra, but in terms of new shows, I think I am on the OK-KO, Kipo, or Craig of the Creek bandwagons.
It always astounds me to see how much Pearl has grown throughout the series. She never would have offered to babysit Onion in S1, or even interact with humans when given the choice. But the biggest thing I want to point out is how she shapeshifted for the very first time since she posed as Rose for the Pink Diamond shattering (5,000+ years ago). It's a smaller detail that may have been forgotten, but the way back in S1, when Steven Tag was first shown on screen, Pearl scoffed at shapeshifting when Amethyst and Garnet tried to goad her into it (obviously not knowing it was a source of trauma), and for her to do it now shows how much she's healed and grown. It's beautiful.
And it might be a controversial take, but "Why So Blue" is definitely among, of not my favorite episode of Future, just because it also shows how much Lapis has healed and grown since going through some of the most traumatic experiences any of these characters have gone through. She's so happy and content with herself now. She's gotten so much better, and it warms me to see that. I loved to hear her sing with her amazing voice, and to finally see how her strength (both inner and outer lol) compares to TWO lazulis working together brings so much perspective to the sheer amount of power she wields. She's so inspiring.
My recommendation for the next show to tackle after SU is definitely Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. It carries some similar themes and tones to SU, and is a delight to watch. Plus, it isn't nearly as long, which is nice if y'all want a break from the giant shows lol.

I agree with the other suggestions for Young Justice and Infinity Train! Young Justice is a bit different of a vibe in comparison to the other shows you're reacting to at the moment, which could be interesting! It's enjoyable even without prior DC knowledge- but that of course makes it more fun if you have any! Infinity Train is a more 'hidden' gem I'd say, with how little friction I see it get by reactors; but definitely up your alley of current reactions!

I've seen Young Justice, The Good Place, and Infinity Train, all suggested previously and I want to continue to throw my support behind those three! The latter two especially because I don't see that reacted to as often and feel it is less known, so want to draw attention to them.
i can't promise these shows are going to do great views-wise but imo some good shows to replace steven would be infinity train, ok ko, and craig of the creek, kinda in the same vein but also bringing new vibes to the table

It's just Rose Steven is trying to find a purpose. He's spent all his life saving and helping people and now he has none of that. Steven has a saviour complex.

The episode Bluebird just makes me think of a comic meme that was made around the time it came out: Aquamarine and Eyeball are like in a bar, separately grumbling about how much they hate Steven, then they notice each other and start to aggressively make out.
Also, Rebecca Sugar explained that Spinel got her stuff from Pink's personal inventory she had access to as her "best friend" (they planned to have a scene about that, but the movie was already getting too long.) And she got them so quickly because she was like right next to a teleporter that can near instantly take her super far away.
Speaking of the movie, the higher-ups intervened quite a bit with that one: it seems Rebecca really wanted to focus more on the character relationships and stuff, with Connie being more relevant in the story and Spinel becoming jealous of how close her and Steven are, and more focus on unhealthy friendships and attachments and stuff. And I think I heard there was gonna be more emphasis on how Steven just hates being around the Diamonds so much that he refused to ask their help even if he really needed it.
However, Cartoon Network insisted there should be more action and bigger stakes, so the whole giant injector and the world almost ending became a thing that filled that space instead. Cartoon Network also wanted Steven to straight-up shatter Spinel, but Rebecca obviously refused.

I've never seen anyone recommend it to reactors besides me, but if you're looking for something in the same genre of "kids cartoon with dark adult undertones," Centaurworld on Netflix is fantastic.

Yes yes I second this! I think I've recommended it to them twice already, this is such an underrated show that more people need to see. Might be hard to really get into it with some of the more "immature" jokes, butt jokes aside (pun oh so totally intended), it's a really fun and interesting watch. I hope they listen to us and watch it! :))

Oh my God, I’ve been dying to see more reactions to that show. It’s literally a crime how the networks have treated it. Infinity train is literally one of my favorite animated shows ever, and it only had the potential to get greater if they had allowed it to continue its full run. Here’s hoping that someone will eventually pick it back up again though because it’s literally gold.
