I love how the whole “strategy” of the bad batch is “anyway, we started blasting”

There was a droid uprising in the past of the Star Wars universe, that is why there are restrictions on the intelligence and freedom given to robots/droids.

The sorta stupid team should watch the Bad Batch before they watch Rebels. I know it is not release order, but it is chronological order.

If I'm not mistaken. Yeah, almost all the clones, including The Bad Batch are all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

You guys should really watch rebels after you finish this bad batch should be one of the last things you watch as it was released relatively recently.

Don’t bother with rebels man lol…it’s not as good, and there’s a lot of repetitive episodes. Just watch like a big summary of the seasons, and then you could dive into the shows that way maybe

Highly, HIGHLY disagree. While the first two seasons are definitely more "kiddie" material than Clone Wars, still feature a LOT of characters who are very relevant to a lot of the other SW properties released in the Disney-era. But moreso than that, basically from the Season 2 finale onwards, the show shifts back to a much more mature, grounded, piece of Star Wars content and some of the best arcs in all of televised Star Wars.

Bad batch is a great show but you need to watch rebels first as bad batch will spoil rebel. Honestly from here on out with everything Star Wars it’s probably best to just watch in real life release order as they start referencing and spoiling previous released series a lot more even if they come before what they are spoiling in the actual in universe timeline.

I think you can watch Bad Batch before Rebels, there are references, but not any big spoilers.

While Bad Batch is a direct continuation of clone wars there are 3 episodes which contain characters from rebels ... and are a blast to watch if you have the entire picture first ... but you can absolutely watch bad batch without first watching rebels.

This season was done under Disney's ownership and they brought the show back when it was doubt that it would happen so the same way people like to give them crap for the sequel trilogy they deserve a lot of credit for how good this season is.

Either orders are fine, there is no wrong answer. There is a pretty unilateral consensus that the second arc, episode 5, 6, 7 and 8 is, over all, a pretty bad arc. The reason why it's considered a better order to watch that arc first is that efterwars you're left with what is 8 episodes of straight heat.

Now, I do agree that that is a favorable viewing order, it doesn't really matter and that it's just a matter of preference. Watching in either order here doesn't really matter, whereas the jumping around in early seasons makes things much better by regrouping things that should have been together or by giving character's appearances in their proper order instead of having people like Cad Bane free Zero the Hutt from prison in an early episode, followed by later down the line having an episode with him where he infiltrates the Jedi archive for an holocron that contains data on force sensitive children which takes place before the prison break.

The Bad Batch is Clone Force 99, named after the "defective" clone 99, who was in Echo's backstory w/ Domino Squad, who died.

The Bad Batch show is about these guys, but answers a lot of the questions about what happens to the clones post-Order 66.

Adding my voice to the chorus of people saying you GOTTA watch the last 4 episodes together as a movie. You can even split them into 2 videos of 2 episodes each but PLEASE watch all 4 in 1 sitting. It genuinely is best experienced all in 1 go as basically a mini movie.

Looking forward to the finale, Rebels, and Bad Batch! Strong start!

I never realized there was a "watch arc 2 first in s7" discussion. I feel like the Bad Batch arc is the best place to start, but it's been a minute. Guess we'll see when we get to the next arc what people are thinking there.

Yeah it’s cause timeline wise episodes 4-7 take place before this episode 1-4 arc. But with how this season was conveyed I personally don’t think following the timeline order is necessary or beneficial for the watch or enjoyment

Yeah, no Dee Bradley Baker voices all of the clones and a lot of other side characters too, like Admiral Trench, I’m surprised Sean doesn’t know that considering I remember he mentioned him at one point (He’s also Klaus from American Dad). Also, he just so happens to be a lifelong fan of the franchise, having made a Jawa halloween costume the year the first one came out, and as a teenager, working at his local cinema so a summer so he could watch the movie over and over again (source was his second appearance on Rob Paulsen’s old podcast, Talkin’ Toons.)

Oh also, you guys missed it because it’s been so long, but Clone Force 99, is named after Clone 99; he was the defective clone who sacrificed himself a few seasons ago and the guy Hevy gave his medal to.
