With a name like “Ima-Gun Di”, he was never destined to survive in any Star Wars media. Damn shame, cuz he looks awesome af

Dang, now I remember why I’m not a huge fan of the “official” order on the Star Wars website. I really wish it went straight from “Clone Cadets” into “Rookies” because I’m worried about these guys not recognizing that it’s the same group of clones

So an interesting note. clones like 99 being sent to Maintenace was a change the Jedi insisted on, before then, the Kaminoans would send failures to be "Recycled"

What's funny is Dee Bradley Baker (Voice of the clones) also voiced Appa in Avatar the Last Airbender!

Not just Appa and Mono, the guy literally makes sounds for animals in any animated show

No one realizes they're being fooled because they're too busy laughing at the fool. That’s why jar jar is a great character

Master Ima Gun Di's last stand gives me chills every time. It is so well done, and when watched this early in the viewing order, gives the show this heavy atmosphere early on.

We've had clones die a bunch at this point already but seeing a Jedi die just hits different.

This episode is proof to me that Jar Jar has the force.

The movie is basically what the series is- a bunch of episodes that make up an "arc" that usually spans from 2 to 5 episodes

That's why the movie felt like it had distinct parts to it like the battle of Christophsis, then the mission to get the Hutling, then finally getting the Hutling home because it was a glorified pilot of the series.

Fleshing out the Clones as actual characters is by far and away the biggest contribution this show does for the Canon. Before this you were lucky to get a few commander names like Cody in Ep 3. The Clone Wars not only made people like some of the clones but their are a pretty large number of people in the community who's all time favorite Star Wars is one of the clones.

The Bad Batch show is about different characters but you'll see when you get there. Yeah you are about to basically get through most of season 1 for a long while. This show doesn't really have main characters per say and it that's part of why they told the story they way they did cause it is meant to be stories from the Clone Wars, watching it in Chronological order is also pretty neat cause you can see some connections in different ways

Would it confuse them timeline-wise if they go straight to TBB after TCW? Because I don't think so but then I don't remember the fine details to be sure. I'd just love for them to watch TBB before Rebels and the rest.

Oh wow, I didn't think we'd be getting into Ryloth so early! Been so long since I watched these though, I'm not arguing with the official list. I am just here for the ride!

Yeah this show dishes out death like it’s nothing, often in surprisingly brutal and graphic ways.

And then there’s parents who hate it and pretend that the original movies were happy adventures. I saw an Amazon review for the box set of this show and it has never left my mind. The review was by a mother who bought for her kid and had to hide it from him because it was “one of the most violent shows” she’d ever seen. She then said “gone are the happy days of Star Wars that I grew up on.” I had three thoughts in response to that. 1. I’d be so pissed off if I was your son. 2. If you think this is so violent then you must not watch a lot of TV. 3. Obi-Wan cuts the arm off a guy in the cantina in the first movie and the camera pans over it to show blood leaking from it.
