   The worldbuilding in She-ra is honestly some of my favorite and this episode does such a great job of weaving together the seemingly disparate concepts that are Magic and Tech. Like, yeah, She-ra has a magical girl transformation and shoots rainbows out of her giant sword from the stone, but she's literally the product of technology. All the princesses are. Their Magic-Runestones are highly advanced forms of Organic Tech, and the planet literally being a ball of technology is such a wild concept but also makes the magic of everything so much more intriguing. Cause how much of everything is magic and how much is technology? Plus the little bit about being trapped in a pocket dimension, the lore drop from the previous She-ras, and She-ra/Adora's mentor not being infallible in that she's a little wonky and outdated and can't seem to understand human attachment, it all potentially speaks to the First Ones as a people, She-ra as an entity, and her purpose as a warrior. When I watched this show for the first time, I knew very little about the He-man universe and fully thought it'd be an American Sailor Moon, but finding out it's actually a sci-fi fantasy mix with ancient planetary technology, space farers, and planet spanning gemstone power grids fully sent me on a nerd-out spiral. Taking such dissonant concepts and melding them into one cohesive setting and environment was such a great reveal for me.
