Pericles is brilliant so far
This is when the show gets great imo. Everything becomes more interesting from here on. the relationships between the gang, the villains, the over arching plot, etc. These two episodes alone are hilarious, have great development for Daphne and Fred and Scooby and Velma (SPOILERS but they don't really beef after this and they have some really sweet moments in season 2), memorable villains, and the plot amps up.
Maybe you guys are right. I'm halfway through Season 2 of this show and you guys are going to be surprised about Fred's dad, Angel Dynamite and Mr. E.

They never really say it, I didn’t realize until my own rewatch, but it’s good to note that Mr. E’s associate is the CEO of Destroido from the cicada episode.
