I may have missed something. But is there a reason why you haven't watched the opening at all yet?
I've watched this show at least 20 times on my own and watching other people react to it or me showing my friends and I'm still excited to see more people get into it. To clarify something about their Aura that the show doesn't explicitly say, is that their Aura can be infused into anything they touch and as they say in the show, "be a conduit for it" and that literally means anything (which is how Yang can shoot her gauntlets without an actual trigger to pull). Not to mention their Aura being a forcefield is why they can take hits that would normally injure someone or incapacitate them, like with Jaune flying into Ruby. As long as their Aura is up and not broken they can reduce damage to their body.
If you guys LOVE the action from this series you should go back and watch some of Monty's older work. Specifically the Dead Fantasy series, I know Ruff would love it given what he is a fan of but I don't want to spoil who's in the videos.
