I like how Rick says that God isn’t real but he still believes and acknowledges the devil is real. Like…I feel that’s a contradiction ?
Also the beginning of a great, but long arc. Plus the connection to Gravity Falls in episode 10 ^^

I like how it's a cartoon with constant illogical points but some dude makes it about his religious kink every time without fail like it matters

its so cool how the creators came together to put so many easter eggs about gravity falls and rick and Morty being connected, a crossover would go so hard

this is the episode that hints at Gravity Falls universe and Rick and Morty Universe being connected in some way, as when they are creating the many portals in that place with the weird birds, Stan's mug and notepad from the ep where he finally turns on the portal flies through one of them! it's believed that, in the lore of these two shows, Stanford knew Rick for a moment while he was traveling through the portals.

When Rick and Morty are running from the Citadel Ricks, they open a bunch of random portals in that Dr. Seuss dimension. After they leave and the Citadel Ricks come through, some random objects get sucked through a portal in the middle. A mug with a question mark on it, notebook and pen. In Gravity Falls Season 2 Episode 7, in the end credits, Stan accidentally drops these exact items and they fly into the portal in the basement.
