Frankenstein's monster is technically a Frankenstein so you can call him Frankenstein and be right. He is the doctors child after all.
Fun Casting Fact: Inspector Kempt is played by the same actor that voiced King Triton in Disney's animated The Little Mermaid, Kenneth Mars
Does Erik not know about tesla coils?
FRAU BLUCHER
*NEEEEEIIIIGH
I love Gene Wilder's acting here and how a lot of the comedy is delivered with a blunt attitude. Definitely looking forward to Blazing Saddles!! :D My favorite part of the 1818 Frankenstein novel was when the Creature framed the beloved family maid for murder and Victor Frankenstein sat in the court room contemplating how to bring the Creature to justice without looking like a lunatic. Everyone forgets the court case and how the Creature promises to run away to Brazil if Frankenstein makes him a wife. :(
Dracula: Dead & Loving It (starring Leslie Nielsen) is awesome
Definitely do Blazing Saddles but also Dracula: Dead & Loving It is SUPER underrated
Check out blazing saddles and the producers those are some of his best work. Also as a suggestion check out Fritz the Cat 1972. Cult classic. For three reasons.
1. Budget $750,000 - made 90 million at the Box Office.
2.first film to almost receive an X rating.
3.Just a Wild kickstart for indie animated films.
Hell yeah seconding Fritz The Cat.
In a similar vein, also recommending
Fire and Ice, Rock & Rule, Fantastic Planet, Heavy Metal, and Gandahar.
Heavy Metal would be a sick watch for them <3
I can't wait to see the reaction to Blazzing Saddles, that's going to be WILD! I do hope you guys watch the other Mel Brooks monster movie Dracula: Dead and Loving It before the end of October. Also, CLUE would be an AMAZING reaction for this month.
I watched Dracula DaLI so much as a kid. So good.
You can easily call Frankenstein a Monster. Since he dug up bodies sewn them together and resurrected them. Seems pretty Monstrous to me.
