after the alpha died, stack and mary were free to be themselves. as he was no longer controlling them with the hive mind. they may be vampires, but it didn't change who they were as people

I didnt see this movie in theaters, I kept seeing tiktoks about the whole needing to be invited in and also dancing/singing vampires. I decided to check it out here since I became intrigued especially hearing the rocky road to Dublin. Let's get a movie about Remmick and I agree with someone else I wanna see more of the Choctaw aswell

coming from a black man, i understand that you can see that black ppl have been mistreated and taken advantage of, but the fact that you guys (nor any other white reactors) have taken the time to discuss Remmick and his goal is annoying. He literally explained why he appreciates black culture and how he and his culture (a white culture) was treated the same as blacks in early America. Basically what im saying is, speak on every aspect of a movie or keep your opinions to base level praise. Lastly don't be hypocrites, if white people are so evil and black people are so oppressed do the world a favor and kys. Thanks

This is the highest grossing original horror movie of all time! Earned imo. Love how it takes many beats from From Dusk Till Dawn but is still wildly it’s own thing. We need more movies in the genre of, “Act 1 has brothers trying to get away with a robbery but they end up at a club and one of them becomes a vampire at the beginning of Act 2.

1:59:12 - in all honesty, I think he is, he probably hasn't seen the sun in centuries, so it must be nice seeing it one last time as his soul finally passes on

Im confident you guys know your music but just in case, the old Sammie is Buddy Guy an incredible blues legend, but also at the end playing next to him is Christone 'Kingfish' Ingram,a very talented guitarist and singer. He is 26 and already have a grammy and a Blues Music Award.

Finally confirmed through this movie that it was not special effects but they are actual twins. Michael B. Jordan & Michael A. Jordan

I think Smoke might actually have been lying to Sammie when he said that guitar was their dad's, just based on when that guitar probably would have been made (20s/early 30s) - it might have been his last attempt to save Sammie from himself, though to be fair in the end he didn't actually need that saving. Harder to get rid of a guitar that belonged to an idol of yours, than one that belonged to someone you just learned was a terrible father. Totally unconfirmed, of course, just a headcanon.

This was such a good movie. Seeing it on the big screen does it justice. I was spoiled about it being about vampires from YouTube shorts of people making skits about inviting them in and I thought "Oh vampires" but let me tell you, it did not ruin the experience for me. All my friend and I did was talk about the movie the entire car ride home and that ending always fucks me up, I knew my brother would have loved this movie

Sun wukong is actually one of the figures from the big dance scene , to represent grace and asian culture (yes I know Sun wukong is Chinese specifically , but what I meant should be pretty clear)

Yeah I’d say it’s more cultural assimilation than appropriation. Remmick’s Irish culture was forced to assimilate to white European culture, so now he’s forcing other cultures to assimilate to vampirism.

Well more precisely he wanted Sammie so he could connect with his ancestor. Honestly Remmick was looking for a familie and friendship. Take away the "partial" hive control and his not that bad IMO hehe

If they made another movie, I want to know about the Choctaw. Remmick was messed up being chased by them. They knew what he was and they left because night was falling.

basically the reason the vampires were violent, was because they were connected to head vampire through a hive mind. but once the head was dead, they were free to think and live their own lives. Stack and Mary may be Vampires, but they are still the same people they was before they got turned
