Shrek Super Slam. if you know, you know
I played the game on game cube and it was my favorite back then. I could never get pass puss in boots. But it is extremely fun.
I would loveeee to see you guys do a reaction to Shrek the Musical. It’s so good and just as funny.
I know it doesn't look great, but PLEASE give the musical a chance. The songs are absolute bops, and it really doesn't take itself too seriously. I got to see a local production of it and honestly enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would
I think you all should watch 90% of the Dreamworks movies (Like you can skip Boss Baby). So many good movies, but for Shrek the top ones are 1 & 2. The second film is so good. A lot of people is not everyone dislikes the 3rd film. But for many, the 4th redeems the Shrek movies. DW just is so good with their trilogies (for the most part)
I didn't notice how good some of the transitions were in this movie. If you like fades you got to see the movie SPIRIT Stallion of the Cimarons. Such a good underrated movie from Dreamworks. DOPE music too.

I hope you all react to Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. Great movie based on a great graphic novel. Netflix is releasing an anime based on the graphic novel in November and the movie cast is voicing all their original characters ^^ So it’d be great to watch the movie soon
Shrek the Musical is unironically kind of a banger.

Also I don't think Eddie Murphy was in Madagascar, BUT HE WAS in the animated Mulan (1998). You guys have all seen Mulan, right? If not, that one definitely needs to go on a poll one day!
For the next movie poll at least after Shrek 2 if we ever get to that point you should definitely add Madagascar to the list, It's such a fun time and all 3 movies feel pretty consistent in quality for better or worse.

The Far Far Away Idol was so fun! I remember getting the rental from Blockbuster or Netflix (in the mail ?) and playing on that bonus feature mini game for like an hour!
I heard that animators at Dreamworks were working on Shrek and the Prince of Egypt at the same time, and they were sent to the Shrek department as a punishment for failing on other animated work. They thought it was going to flop and called it "the dungeon" and "getting shreked" to get sent down there. There are whole articles about it online. It's nuts how wrong they were about its reception. ?

Regarding medieval vests, it's partly a style thing but mainly the vests just look way shorter because they're wearing tunics not shirts. The vests aren;t short, the tunics are just really long

I really hope a Shrek 2 commentary is in our future because if you liked the story and the soundtrack in this movie, Shrek 2 is on another level.

I don’t know if anyone went through this BUT I’ve always watched this movie with the Spanish dub since I was a kid to my teenage years and I never got why people gave Shrek an accent and watching it in English gave me a whiplash I didn’t expect to get lol I do enjoy the original but Spanish dub shrek feels more familiar to me lol

also I would love to see you guys do the rest of the Shrek series as well. It's definitely my favorite series of animated movies. The first and second are my favorites but I saw the 3rd and 4th in theaters years ago so I would really enjoy seeing if you guys will like them too.

It's one of the most influential works of the 21st century and I'm not even kidding. Shrek and SpongeBob SquarePants are cultural touchstones for a whole generation. Shrek 2 is also one of the greatest sequels ever produced, I can't wait for that reaction.
