   Love this movie and music but watching this with nephew pointed out that the melodies of a lot of the songs are from other Disney movies like Lion King and Aladdin. I never noticed it before.. so we looked it up apparently it was done deliberately so kids would feel like they knew them.

    I love y'all lots but please stop advocating for ChatGPT. Just use Duck Duck Go or a calculator. Particularly on a movie like this, one of the last true works of love from Disney Animation before it got merged with Pixar, advocating for AI is really just.... Not the best look.

    I really do love Charlotte. She quite easily could of been a spoiled rich mean girl that looked down on Tiana. But she was a supportive friend all the way through, her friendship to Tiana was priority over a prince. And she was always loooking for ways to help Tiana out even though she knew Tiana isn’t the type to accept hand me outs.

    something I never realized about the beginning of this film that I absolutely love is how, at the end of the first song "Down in New Orleans", we see all the main players of the story framed in one spot, in a manner similar to an old stage play or fairy tale.

    Funfact: Ray is voiced by Jim Cummings who plays Hondo and Winnie the Pooh, etc.

    This movie also convinced me I wanted to work 2 jobs in high school on top of sports and other extra curriculars and I learned really quick that THAT was dumb lol

    So the guy you guys thought was Tom Hanks, was actually Corey Burton, you'd recognize him as Cad Bane, Count Dooku and a whole host of other characters from Clone Wars. Also, Tiana's mom is voiced by Oprah.

    My whole family lives in LA near Nola and I grew up betweent here and Texas my whole life. This movie brings out so much nostalgia for me. Its so warm and comforting for my whole family. Hell, my sister named her first daughter 'Tina' because of it lol
