didn't watch these movies but i grew up with this era of Pokemon up til X&Y.
Advance Battle (off of Emerald and Ruby) and Diamond and pearl were my favorite seasons.
despite the anime being a major part of my childhood, ive never played the mainline games.
Same I never got to play the main games until like 3 years ago. Sward was my first game. I grew up with these movies and stopped at Lucario. Saw some of the OG anime with Misty. But I enjoyed the Diamon and Pearl seasons so much. I think I have the box set still in my room.
Destiny Deoxys is my fave movie so I can't wait to watch yall react to it. Also yall should really react to some of the anime battles that has had during his championships and react to the finale of the anime.
Y'all should check out Pokemon Generations/Evolutions and Twilight Wings, the animation is amazing!
For some reason I thought the plot of this movie was Max accidentally deleting May with a wish and the whole thing was about trying to get people to remember her to bring her back to existence. I was so confused throughout this whole reaction ?
Yeah that's not the real Groundon it's a failure/monster Pokémon origins is HIGHLY recommended over the other spin offs. And pokemon apocalypse is fan fiction
It would be cool for you guys to check out Pokemon Generations and Pokemon Evolutions on Youtube. Basically, they are short stories/OVAs based on the games.
There is also Twilight Wings which is more based on the Sword/Shield games
That Groundon was not really the true Groundon. Groundon is filled with magma and creates land
So, I do believe that there was a special in the Pokemon Advanced/Advanced Battle series (Or it might have been Battle Frontier I'm not certain) that features Kyorge/Groundon.
If I remember correctly Ash and Pikachu were just arriving in a new place and get entangled in a team Aqua fight and Pikachu accidentally absorbs one of the orbs used to summon Kyorge/Groundon - and then Ash is determined to get this orb out of Pikachu because it's taken control of him.
Not sure what the episode was called, but I think Kyorge pops up there, and as people have previously mentioned Kyorge does appear in the Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea film too.

The Arceus Chronicles are a 4 part special that take place in the gen 8 animae. It will be weird if you watch it because it is just a 4 part episode of the show. It isn’t the typical movie where there are introductions. It has a character you have no idea about and the special is to promote Lengends: Arceus.

In later movies the characters sound different because in season 9 onwards, 4kids didn’t dub the animae. All the characters got different VAs to voice them. Even ash got another VA with Sarah Natochenny voicing them now. She has done the voice longer than the og Veronica Taylor.
The next 3 movies (and this one) are in my opinion the best. Maybe it's just nostalgia because these are the movies i remember watching growing up, but these are some of the movies I'm most excited to see you guys react to!
The next one is a banger! I love the setting so much and the side character is good too from what I remember. Lucario was so meaningful to me. I can't wait till they watch it!
Brock slander gotta stop mans raised his 9 siblings by himself cause his deadbeat parents abandoned them and their responsibility to the Gym . When the dad finally felt guilty enough. He came back to take over the gym and kids so Brock finally got a chance to chase his dreams instead of keeping them on pause.

kyorge is featured in the manaphy movie that has the 3rd gen characters but is technically a 4th gen movie but it is after the deoxys movie

Close, that is the next one. I would do the same. I would watch Pokemon 4ever and Heros but skip this film to watch deoxys and Rayqauza.

So pokemon apocalypse is way in the future it was a TV series episode and not a special but a series of episodes where primal groudon and primal kyogre fight as well as mega rayquaza, mega charizard and mega metagross. Other than that kyogre was only a series of episodes in the gen 3 anime based around team aqua and where Pikachu gets possessed by kyogre

Pokemon apocalypse is related to the spin off series called Xenial Destiny which is fan fiction, therefore it doesn't exist apparently.

ok some order: mewtwo returns was direct to home dvd\VHS so it's not count as a movie so jirachi is the 6th movie and deoxys is the 7th.
Pokémon Apokélypse is not real, it's a short video made by fans that shows an alleged trailer to a movie named "Pokémon Apokélypse" but it never existed.
hoopa is the 18th movie featuring nearly every legendary that existed to that point.
also to clarify the generations: movie 1-2 are 1st gen, 3-5 are 2nd gen, 6-9 are gen 3, 10-13 are gen 4, 14-16 are gen 5, 17-19 are gen 6, 20-23 are gen 7. there are no gen 8 or gen 9 movies as to this date.
as for other specials "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon" is a special made by pokemon USA(american made) for pokemon 10th anniversary and it's just trash by every means, highly recommand to skip. pokemon origins is basically an adaptation of the gen1 games(blue, fire, red), it's really bad and does a lousy job at adapting the games so also skip it.

Really? I've only ever heard Pokemon Origins is really good. This is the first time I've heard anyone call it bad. And from the clips I've seen, it would at least be fun to react to, it's worth a shot IMO

I never realized the Pokemon constellations in the credits were modeled after real life constellations. Ursa Major and minor for Teddiursa and Ursaring. And Virgo for Gardevoir.
When you guys watch Destiny Deoxys, just remember - the hot dog machine is the true main character.
