   PLEASE watch Do Revenge. It's like if Mean Girls had an unhinged baby. Also, Bottoms was a really funny teen comedy that flew under the radar. It definitely feels like a return to 2000s coming of age movies and ya'll would definitely love it.

   Fun fact: that one Asian girl, apparently didn't say the N-word (this has been confirmed by multiple Asian speakers who've reacted to the film) & the subtleties were just written like that because people working on the film thought that it'd be make the scene more shocking & thus more funny then what she actually said (which I'm pretty sure was something closer to just calling the other girl a bitch).

    if u guys want a movie with the same chaotic mean girl 2000s high school vibe, another amazing cult classic is jennifer’s body! it’s a lot like mean girls but with a horror twist— i literally can’t recommend it enough! it also stars amanda seyfried (karen from this movie, aka the best character LOL) and megan fox :-)

    omg wasn’t expecting a mean girls reaction…such a treat :D also yes, lacey chabert is the original voice of meg in family guy before mila kunis took over, they’ve joked about it a few times.  if you ever do any romcoms/“chick flicks”, i feel like y’all would enjoy she’s the man (silly and fun), the sweetest thing (stupid humor akin to the hangover), and something borrowed (funny characters with juicy drama)

    Please don't bother watching the 2024 Mean Girls movie. I've only seen clips of it and that was enough. The acting was so bad and just felt like a bad SNL sketch.

    So the thing is the “remake” isn’t a remake but a movie version of the Mean Girls musical from Broadway! It’s not trying to remake because they know nothing can ever replace the original. My friends and I laughed a lot during it and the songs are great (Renee Rapp and Auli’i Cravalho steal the show)! I would love to see you guys react to it (it has a bunch of cameos and references to 2004 Mean Girls)!

    So, I'm only an hour and 27 minutes into this, but I'll call it, this is the most entertaining reaction I've ever watched to anything.  The comedy you guys bring to this already funny movie is something I don't think I can exaggerate.  I've had tears in my eyes for 20 minutes, it's been so good.

    Interesting side note, it looks like this version of the movie lost a scene.  In the gymnasium, when Ms. Norbury says "I'm disappointed in you," it used to be preceded by Cady narrating, "that's when she said the worst thing any child can hear," followed by Ms. Norbury saying, "YOUR PARENTS HAVE BEEN EATEN BY CANNIBALS!"  Weird that it's gone.

    This classic movie and the "remake" are both written and produced by Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and other co-stars from their SNL days. I appreciate the musical reboot that the same writers and producers did. It feels updated and very intentionally different. The new version gave some nostalgia jokes mixed with new jokes. I think its worth a watch especially when the jokes are fresh on your mind

       I got out of high school like 5 years ago and I will tell ya’ll that the amount of times I would hear someone who wasn’t black would say the N word was about twice a day.

    I like how this movie came out in 2004, has an openly gay character in the main cast, two girls making out in the middle of a Halloween party and its target audience is clearly high school girls. And no one complained! What happened man?

    The craziest part about Mean Girls is that it's based on a real school from the midwest. I learned about this in an adolescent psychology class in college, probably the most shocking thing from that class....that and one of my classmates did a report on a guy who was really into butt chugging, funniest presentation in that class by far...the more I think about it that class was wild....
