   As far as "age gaps" go, this isn't the worst. For Raiders of the Lost Ark, Lucas proposed to Spielberg that Marion Ravenwood really was a child to Indiana Jones when he worked with Doctor Ravenwood and wooed Marion. He wanted her to be as young as fifteen, which fits when they meet in Nepal and she snaps at him, "I was a child!" Spielberg didn't agree so much but their age difference was never mentioned.

   Man, if ya'll thought Anakin and Padme had a weird age gap, Han Solo was 36 in Episode 6, and Leia was 23...let that sink in.

      (if I could edit comments I would) You should also give Jango Fett's comic books called Open Season a read. It gets into his backstory. He wanted Boba as his son, someone who he could pass on his skills and legacy to.

   Huh, I'd never noticed Jango died there because his jetpack malfunctioned when that thing ran him over. I guess odds are neither Windu nor Jango expected the decapitating strike to actually connect?

      I've done similar things when editing, and it's literally just to put more pause in between lines for dramatic effect. Sometimes half a second can make all the difference in pacing. Try imagining the scene without that little extra bit of time. It feels rushed to me. I think the JV team are editors, so I'm not surprised they caught it immediately lol

    You might be thinking of the Oedipus and Electra complex.

    Also, there’s a lot of instances where Luke seems to have taken on more of Padme’s traits, whereas Leia seems to better embody Anakin.

    Im pretty sure Anakin is 20 here. Padmé is 26. Anyone else who knows better please correct me, but those ages seem right to me.

    Let's do this again I suppose. If I remember correctly, Anakin and Padme are 5 years apart in age. It's been 10 years since the first movie so Anakin is likely between 18-20
