I like this movie but I do think the Raptor gun is extremely silly, like if you already have the gun trained on someone a bullet or even an explosive round will work just fine
43:50 Satanosaurus is a Carnotaurus, one of my personal favorites
rich people don't make castle because it is toooo annoying. it's too far out from anywhere and maintaining it a hastle. France has this problem. Alot of people inherit them but no one lives in them
14:01 what bree said lol
all these dinosaur movies and you have not seen Primal?
Primal is much more niche than Jurassic Park, but yeah they should absolutely watch Primal
Now I can add this film with the Marmaduke film as the few ones to have a character named Maisie like me XD
There are moments I liked in Fallen Kingdom, but it could've been better. Kinda gave me issue similar to Last Jedi in how things were handled.
The indoraptor is my favorite of the hybrids. Looks like an actual dinosaur that would've lived at the time, and it's like a panther.
While I'll request Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory, it'd be nice if guys like you would react to some dinosaur documentaries like Walking with Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Planet. That way you can learn more about the animals featured in the films.
New dinosaurs in this include
Sinoceratops - The hefty ceratopsian that fought the Carno during the eruption sequence. This movie was my introduction to it, though it's real look is quite different, less hefty.
Carnotaurus - Its name means "meat-bull lizard" due to its horns. Not the biggest predator of South America, but still an awesome one.
Baryonyx - A smaller, European cousin to Spinosaurus from JP3.
Stygimoloch - The breakout bonehead, and my personal favorite in the Evolution games. There's debate about it actually being an adolescent Pachycephalosaurus than being its own species.
Allosaurus - Dubbed the 'lion' of the Jurassic, it was one of the most badass predators (under Torvosaurus) of North America in the Mid-Jurassic. It had a grand debut in the Walking with Dinosaurs program.
00:43:35 That is a Carnotaurus, Likely a latin name combining Carnivor and taurus for bull. so its literaly a meat eating bull dino.
Imagine Star Wars: Clone Wars with dinosaurs.
Come to Hawaii, the big island, sometime. It's got an active volcano, you can see the lava sometimes. There's an observatory over the caldera high up, you're really far and the lava just collects in the caldera basin, so it's safe. Hasn't bubbled over to do damage in a while.
Hot take but Masie is a fkn ecoterrorist. Releasing all of those dinos into the continental US literally changed the entire ecosystem. Her excuse that "they're alive, like me" is complete BS when you realize that while she might be a clone, she's one HUMAN child. Not a freggin dinosaur that will have a massive effect on the entire world...
she failed the trolley test lol
She's just being human. We also fucked up our eco system, so why shouldn't she? She brought more nature to the world, did you think about that!? All that dino shit will feed the earth and it'll take care of the over population. So technically she is the hero!
I highly recommend watching Camp Cretaceous on Netflix. It's cannon, and happens concurrently with the Jurassic world movies
Franklin's reward for surviving this movie is to spend the rest of his life still running from dinosaurs.
If you guys are into dinosaur movies right now and really liked the “satanasaurus” you should check out the Disney movie dinosaur. Came out in the early 2000nds. Has some wild moment in it
I second this ?
If no one has answered yet the "Satanasaurus" is called a Carnotaurus, which is a pretty sweet name in its own right IMO.
Just thought of an interesting game concept. A horror game where you are basically trying to escape a house with the Indoraptor in it (similar to Alien Isolation like Sean said)
Ted Levine that plays Wheatley is a really famous actor who also played Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs
The guy who directed this one is a horror film director so that's why there was a lot of horror elements to it which is a different take they wanted to have. This was definitely good. sad to say the last one is the weakest of the three.
There's a short film on Youtube called "Battle at Big Rock" by the Jurrasic World account, I highly recommend watching it too!
Loving these reactions to Jurassic Park and World. Also the name of that carnivore that git bitch slapped by Rexy twice was a Carnotaurus (if you guys wanna see more of it you guys should watch the movie Dinosaur that came out in 2000)
If what I'm reading is correct, you can actually get close to lava and be fine. You can touch it and not die. You'll get burned, of course. But you won't die. You'd have to be engulfed by it to die. Seems wild to me. But what we see in the movie, as far as lava goes, might be accurate.
The first half of this movie is great. The second half with the stupid ass human clone twist was not.
Honestly, my favorite of the World trilogy. the Indoraptor is insane and i love it.
Yeah you are mistaken Shawn. The actor who plays the teen nerd did not pass away.
To answer your question Ruff about who comes out in a wheelchair and isnt dead before the movie: charles xavier
Trying to help flood their comments on these vids about Camp Cretaceous so they at least consider it!!! ??
I asked them during the stream about it and Chaos Theory. They didn't say no, but they seemed reluctant (i'm not sure if they knew about them really). So hopefully if enough of us ask for it they will cave and watch them.
I had a good time with this one. Honestly not really a Jurassic World fan besides the first one, but watching something with y'all always makes it more fun.
You have to watch Camp Cretaceous its an animation and cannon to the story line
It has nothing to do with the storyline of these movies. You're going to mess around and make them think the show's going to reference these characters or stuff these characters went through directly
@Jessy lmao the show actually does reference several characters from the JW movies. And the entire premise of Camp Cretaceous hinges on the events of JW1 happening. Same with Chaos Theory hinging on the events of Fallen Kingdom and Dominion.
Great documentary about a volcanologist couple, literally called Fire of Love - amazing footage of volcanoes
Unfortunately this one and the next really suck, especially coming off the first Jurassic World which was a mega hit
Wrong on the first count. This one was awesome just like the first one was but the last one does suck also all three of them were Mega hits box office wise
The jurassic park ip was guranteed to make money, but it definitely wasn't good plot-wise. The clone plotline was completely unnecessary for the plot. Made even worse that she ends up being responsible for letting loose a horde of dinosaurs onto the mainland. It was a really dumb copout to give a reason to make another movie. The logical choice would have been to let them die like claire was going to do. It definitely had an interesting part from the start, but it fell off hard in the end, and that's what most people remember
I was always shocked people didn't like this movie, I came out of it thinking it was amazing and I still love it.
Btw, the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, and the fourth film from last year would be a great series for this channel
