   I believe the Netflix original movie "Leo" is also an Adam Sandler movie, and I highly recommend it. It wasn't what I expected at all when I went into it, so I don't want to give away ANY details at all besides the fact that it's also animated, but it's a really nice surprise. Would be nice to see y'all react to it!

   Adam Sandler has been in alot of crap movies but he has also been in some legitimately good and even great movies. Happy Gilmore, Wedding Singer, and Punch Drunk Love were all pretty well received by critics and audiences alike. He even has had a few suprise successes here recently with his movies Hustle, and Leo being surprisingly good and well received. While his against type performance in the movie Uncut Gems earned him alot of respect and praise from critics and film snobs, a 91% on rotten tomatoes, a bunch of award nominations and was considered one of the biggest academy awards snubs in recent history.

   The animation is so fluid and expressive, which I think one of the things that is so distinctive about this movie. Also wondering if you guys would react to Wild Robot in some time  - it's Dreamworks latest animation and it's got amazing visuals and emotional storytelling. They also got several of the visual artists who worked in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish to work on it, so would love to see you guys' check it out :)

    Fun Fact: Genndy Tartakovsky was the sixth director brought on for this film, as it was in development hell for a while and he mainly took it because his Sym-Bionic Titan got cancelled ?.

    Also, the film's initial idea was suppose to be about the son of Van Helsing's son falling in love with Dracula's daughter. I forget why they scrapped that idea but I personally think that would have been a much more interest characterization for Johnny instead of him being this pseudo-everyman/suffer dude protagonist ?.

    What I like about this movie is that it embraces the cartoony and wacky atmosphere, their movement and expressions are just fun and creative to watch

    As much as I really enjoy the Hotel Transylvania movies (the animation, most of the humor, etc.), the "you only zing once" caveat really is the Lego in my shoe. Love at first sight for kids' movies is fine (not preferable, but fine), but I really can't stand it when any story implies that people only find romantic love once in their lives. On one hand, too much pressure to commit 100% to literally anyone who shows a passing interest in you; on the other hand, crushing depression for single living. Amatonormativity is (to put it mildly) such a toe-stub.

    If I had a nickel for everytime Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler were in a hotel together for a TV show or movie I'd have 2 nickels which isn't alot but it's weird that it's happened twice

    This movie is really good with it's animation. And I think it's because they animated it like a 2d cartoon turned 3d. The characters are allowed to have goofy exaggerated movements rather than be stuck to a skeleton structure.

    I Honestly love this movie though I wish I could say the same for the sequels. The seem to get progressively worse imo but I do enjoy parts of them
