This is a fairly mediocre movie in my opinion. Not super amazing compared to movies like puss in boots last wish.
When I went to go see this movie in theaters with my sister, we were the only ones in there. I legit think we were the only ones at my local theater who bought tickets to see this movie. Me and my sis went in expecting to not like it too much because of the reviews it had, and for the first maybe 20 mins of the movie, we were being loud and cracking jokes because we were alone in the theater. We of coursed liked it though, and I swear all of the people who talked shit about it didn't even try to actually watch it.
Brave is SOOO good and very under rated, please react to it!! <3

Wasn't initially invested in the movie's concept of racism, compared to Zootopia(cuz elements that don't mix felt like a weird analogy about discrimination) but then i found out it focused more on immigration, which i could relate to the core.
unfortunately the movie had shit marketing, which is a shame cuz its decent.

imo elementals marketing was really bad. made it seem a lot more cliche and boring, which warded people off. also yesss you guys should totally watch brave its so good.

Yeah, its cool to hate on things the Youtube dudes with big milkers and fedoras love to crap on kids movies. The movie was a lot better than I expected.
The marketing is absolutely what killed the initial run. They marketed CLOD instead of the wonderful love/immigrant story.
I don't like really woke crap but it doesn't feel woke. It's feels more like a romance movie
so the major reason this movie didn't do good at first is because it was advertised as a very standard "opposites attract" romantic comedy, and many people including myself thought "Ok, I've seen this 1000 times before" and didn't go see it. only for word of mouth to spread later that it WASNT that movie and was actually pretty good. I think if the move was advertised as what it actually was it would have done better.
The other reason was the time of the year it was released because the movie had to compete with Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse, the biggest competition, The Flash, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

It takes a lot to legit make me cry I ALMOST did during this (I say I did but no physical tears shed)
I love animated romance movies it’s more real then live action
i prefer that visually because it doesn't have actors hindering the immersion of it being real.

I know Disney+ cut the credits off, but at the end there is a cute photo of the creator's parents who passed away before they were able to watch this movie, and I believe the creator did an interview on what it was like growing up in America as a Korean family and how it inspired the cultural aspects of the film.

I've always hoped that there is an afterlife where you can view the world (or at least individuals) from (I'm agnostic). If there is, I'm sure their parents watched it and loved it.

I didn't knew this was their 100th anniversary I would of liked if they made ONE 2D animation movie but this is a honestly nice movie to watch
I know you guys are doing horror movie reactions for now but hopefully you can watch other Pixar films in the future! Like Toy Story franchise, Ratatouille, Onward, Lightyear and Incredibles
