I hope you react to more classic Disney movies, for Aladdin there still 2 more movies, and there's a crossover with Hercules cartoon, you already watched Oliver and Company?

I have a memory of watching this as a child and legit thinking that lady who calls Aladin "tasty" in the opening song was quite litterally going to eat him. And I didn't question it.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this, but Genie was always designed after Robin Williams and his standup. The whole Aladdin movie is framed around the Genie in a similar way that Ruff mentioned (because of the Genie's presence, the Aladdin movie can have more breaking-the-4th-wall jokes). I definitely recommend watching Lindsay Ellis's Youtube video "How Aladdin Changed Animation (by Screwing Over Robin Williams)" in your own time for more in-depth information on the beef between Robin Williams and Disney and how voice acting has changed. Robin Williams holds his own as both an actor and a voice actor, no doubt, but his inclusion in Aladdin and its marketing (Williams was against being heavily featured in the Aladdin advertising) proposed the idea in Hollywood that having a bigger star attached to a movie meant a much bigger profit. The video is a fascinating listen, and it includes some footage of a Disney animator talking about how he had drawn a scene of Genie doing some of Robin William's standup to propose the role to Williams. I would recommend putting it on while editing or doing some other hand-eye coordination task. :)

Just throwing it out there, Aladdin and Hercules have canonically fought. I'm pretty sure in the Hercules TV show or maybe in the Aladdin TV show, crossover special thingy

First wish: I wish for no catches or monkey's paw effects on my wishes and for my wishes to be granted in the way I desire.

Second wish: I wish for financial stability/I'll always have as much money as I need in my pocket/bank account for whatever it is I need to pay for.

Third wish: Mind control/persuasion. If a slow car gets in front of me, I could have the driver merge into a different lane, safely pass them, and then go about my day. Or. I could have every cop just Not Pay Attention To Me At All unless I explicitly need their help filing a car accident report. I'll never have to drive below the speed limit again if I don't want to.

Technically Instant Transmission only works because Goku is able to focus on someone's ki and use that as an avenue to teleport to THEM. Meaning, you can't use it to teleport anywhere that's uninhabited, but it also means you'd be unable to use it if you can't focus on someone's ki to see where they are, meaning that it would be useless to Ruff if he wished for only the ability to use it

Post-Renaissance Era (2000-2007/ my childhood), my final recommendation would be Treasure Planet. It has good songs, fun action, comedic, a warming story, a deep villain, and Boats in Space. BOATS IN SPACE: come on, it's such a fun setting.

Post-Renaissance Era (2000-2007/ my childhood) I would recommend Atlantis. It has excellent action sequences, a unique hero, good music, dark, and the second-highest kill count in the Disney library. It's such a special film that you guys will love.

Post-Renaissance Era (2000-2007/ my childhood) I would recommend Dinasour. Has the highest kill count of any Disney movie, epic music, intimidating villain(s), and good action. It is one of my favorite films, and I will always advocate for it.

If you are going to react to older Disney movies from the Bronze era (1970-1988), I would say Oliver and Company is a fun film with a rustic look. Or The Great Mouse Detective, a Sherlock Homes movie but as mice (Fun villain, too). From the Renaissance Era (1989-1999), you must watch Huntch Back of Notre Dame. It has peak music and a strong and crazy villain, and it's one of Disney's darkest films. I love it. Or Tarzan, too.

Great reaction, you guys! You guys are always so funny, and I'm glad you liked the movie. It's one of my favorites from the Renaissance era. Animation is always done after voice recordings; it's up to the director or the people in the both to convey what they want, and the actors must bring the script to life. They may see the storyboards or a picture of their character but never the whole animation. The only time the actor sees the animation while recording their voice is when they dub over it for another language. If you ever see clips of VAs in a booth, there is never a screen, only the stand with the script and the mic.

I think Ruff vastly overestimates where a billion dollars can get you. Like you'd be lucky to cure 1 big disease with that much money. Fuck most houses in my city are considered cheap if they are under a million.

I know I will get flak for this. But I'm not the biggest fan of Robin Williams in this movie.

If chewing the scenery is a thing then this genie makes it a whole buffet. Aside from a couple of slower scenes he's basically taking away from the story in a way

This has never been my favorite Renaissance film from Disney. I remember liking three things about it In particular that being Jafar and Iago genie and the magic carpet, none of the other characters stood out to me.

If you mean the live-action show, most likely they will. If you mean the movie Last Airbender, I think it would be funny. But if you mean the show, they already finished it. They are watching Korra right now and on season 3

Voice work is done before they animate. Robin Williams did a lot of improve and they animated over the parts they liked. So at the start with the market guy they gave Robin some props to just improvise with and he actually broke one and he just stayed in character.

Oh wow, it's been so long since I've seen this movie. I used to love it for reasons that would become obvious later in life lol. Aladdin, Hercules, and Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet) were my golden trio of Disney transmasculine awakening lol
