   Is it just me or does Shapesmith give Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man vibes?

   Also, I love Mark's "I understand" immediately followed by their escape from Mars because he did the exact same thing in season 1 with the astronauts the first time he went to Mars.

   Also also, I'm pretty sure the funeral conversation about rain might be a reference to Hughes's funeral in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

   It's wild how different this amber is from the amber at the end of season 1. Like this can't be the same girl who figured out mark was a superhero and then yelled at him for saving lives and almost dying just because he shouldn't be blabbing a secret identity as a teenager

   Boom saying 'It cleared your mind' is response to Rex asking why he had to get his brains blown out to see that he's a dick might be the best joke in this episode.

   And I'm so sad it just went under the radar for SeeOhKnee and Ruff.

   Rex surviving that head shot is pretty possible. The angle he got shot was at the corner of his skull and that bullet went through clean. I've heard a lot of stories of people surviving some extreme head trauma that you'd think would kill them. There was one video I've seen of a lady accidentally shooting a guy in his head in a car. He slumped over passed out and was leaking hardcore like Rex and actually survived. I'm pretty sure that was where the meme "I lived bitch" originated from but I'm not sure. Another one I remember was a guy that got into a nasty car accident where a metal rid impaled him at an angle that pierced his collar bone, his jaw, right up through his skull and it was stuck there and he survived it. So Rex surviving that heads hot was just one of those freak miracle stories you'd have to see to believe.

         Rex surviving that shot hit him in the corner of hos skull. Honestly, there's plenty of irl stories of people suffering fucked up head trauma and survived. I've seen a clip of this lady who accidentally shot a guy in the head. He passed out, blood leaking just like Rex and he ended up surviving it. There was also one I've heard a long time ago of a guy who got in a nasty car accident and a metal rod went up through his shoulder up hos jaw through hos brain and he survived it. Its crazy what people can survive.
