FF7 Machinabridged is definitely the most niche of the TFS series but it's still a ton of fun. You don't need to have played it or other FF games but some jokes will be over some heads.
If you guys have never seen Hellsing or Hellsing Ultimate, you guys totally should even if its on your own time. One of the best anime depictions of vampires.
You know an abridged series is wild when you never watch the original versions of the anime and yet you can still perfectly follow the story
I swear the mangka who wrote Hellsing has a glasses and gloves fetish. Look closely. Almost every single character wears them. And it's just not Hellsing, his other works have them too.
Ok so to answer Boom's question, only the first 2 or 3 episodes of Hellsing Abridge deviate significantly from the original. After that it's pretty much accurate to the show. In fact it even does a better job of explaining some stuff than the original.
YES! One of my favorite anime and I can't even count how many times I've watched the abridged version. You guys are gonna love this.

So fun fact, that bit in the beginning with Luffy and Zoro? It was originally meant more for the people who actually went to the premiere of this episode, which happened at a Convention. When they were promoting their convention appearence with an announcement video, one of the announcements was a 'New Abridged series' with clearly a mosaiced out image of the One Piece title logo. It was pretty much a joke to see who would fall for it. Like it could also obviously be a smoke screen so people wouldn't know they were doing Hellsing, but from the most part it's just a joke.
Really hope you guys react to the final fantasy abridged.
I think aside from "Plasma Screen TV" the other thing that really dates this show is how highschool edgelord from the 00s-level the "jokes" are.
The immaturity shows. They haven't become seasoned writers yet, so the jokes are basically "haha violence" and "haha, profanity" and "haha, jokes about SA".
It hasn't aged well imo. The Hellsing Ultimate OAVs are basically 10 episodes of about an hour plus or minus 10 minutes. May as well watch it.
Oh yeah first two episodes are some of the weakest stuff TFS has put out but by 3 and beyond they get their footing
Since it doesn't explain that well I guess I will. So when someone is bitten by a vampire in this universe they are turned into a ghoul (zombie) if the person bitten is not a virgin, if they are a virgin they get turned into a vampire.

Absolutly reccomed watching the show. I would suggest doing the show before the rest of the abridged because it spoils some pretty unexpected surprises and twists but i think you would like it regardless.

Now that I've watched it, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, there is one particular joke in the first episode that TeamFourStar hates, and it's the "You know what time it is" joke. I'm assuming y'all already recorded all of these, so I'm excited to see you watch the whole series. Also, I do hope you watch Final Fantasy Machinabridged, because I'm certain y'all will love it.
