   The reason I think is kind of out of order is because the production order is different from the order that the episodes came out. It also feels kinda weird from a voice acting perspective because the voices of gumball and darwin were recorder by actual kids and with the recording order being weird it feels like their voices keep slightly aging back and forth between episodes.

    This wasn't out of order, it's just like y'all said. The first two seasons don't really have any main story stuff so you get some stuff like this where it feels kinda out of order, but doesn't really matter. Actual story episodes and developing character beats do start to appear with season 3, but there's enough between the big main ones that even if it did get out of order it'd have to get REALLY out of order to actually be an issue.
