Please start speaking to characters?(L2> Square or Cross), barring gunfights, you can speak to any and all NPC’s at anytime for unique dialogue, situations, and encounters(also the defusing thing)
Only an hour in so idk if you do it later, but please visit the gun store?(also if you drop your gun for one off the ground, your discarded gun will return to your horse inventory, despite one also being where you dropped it)
The dynamite would’ve been located in the same stack as your Lasso, gotta R2/L2 swap
You can also gain positive honor by holding L2 & greeting people, every 3rd NPC you greet will reward you with positive honor.
The best way to defuse the campfire encounters(and a lot of others) is to hold L2 while unarmed and pressing the “Defuse” option when staring at the NPC
