   I'm so jealous you are discovering this game with fresh eyes. Ive played this game so much over the passed 12 years that now, I mostly rely on mods to keep the game feeling fresh for me. I played vanilla skyrim for so long that i cant really see myself going back. Its kinda been there done that for me. That said, It's an amazing game.

   If you read a book you can put it back down instead of taking it.

      NVM you figured that out. Also, you only get level ups from books that are worth more gold. Not all books give levels although some of the other books give quests.

   just some tips: keep your ingots that is used for smithing. dragon bones and skin can be turned into armor. Light for skin, heavy for bones. and once you get a home or homes you can start grabbing all the stuff you want and storing all the stuff there lol. Oh you can also give all the stuff you dont want to carry to lida and she will hold them for you. She is like having two inventories and she can carry more. I'm not going to say more then that at the moment so you can still learn as you go. Have fun!:)

   ruff, you don't have to collect every book. although you can still read them to get the experience.
