Don’t take this in a bad way but these two are the worst guys to teach you about the game lmao. It makes for fun content so i wont complain but damn its frustrating having to watch them both give you the wrong tips and just straight up telling you wrong stuff lmao. Anyways here are some tips:
Every weapon has a unique skill that’s being used by pressing L2. For your swords that was the spinning slash you had at the start but then changed it to the other ash of war (fancy name for weapon skills). You can just go back to the grace and take off the ash of war and it will have the weapon. Nvm im typing this 5 minutes before the video ended and you just figured that part out (seohknee knew the whole time and just said to take the weapon into two hands lol). Anyways another tip: the blue bar on the top is used for magic and your weapon skills. Once that bar is empty your weapon skills are basically useless in 99% of the cases. As for weapon scaling if you want to play strength based (biggest swords and shi) you’re gonna want to look for weapons that have a better scaling in strength (C is better than D and so on) Right now your higher stat is dexterity which is why dexterity based weapons will do more damage for you than strength based ones.
Also what you never did once was refilling your blue bar (FP) by drinking the blue potion.
Also also when you’re using two weapons at the same time your L1 which otherwise would be blocking or casting magic will instead make you attack with both weapons at the same time. That’s also the only way to use both blades at once
