   When I watched this as a college kid it was so hype. We would sit and watch the opening to see which places were going to be featured in the episode and freak out if it was a place and storyline we loved. Also now Winterfell is on fire on the opening map, you can see the smoke.

   Like I said in a previous comment, S3 (and S4) is peak GOT and peak TV in general lol. It gave us some of the most quotable lines in the show too: "You know nothing, Jon Snow," "If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention," "Chaos is a ladder; the climb is all there is" I can't believe we're approaching the final 3 episodes of the season I'm buzzing lmao

   Please watch the histories and lore videos at least for seasons 1 and 2. ( you could watch 3 as well) I know you mentioned you'd wait till the series is over but they would really clear some things up for you and help you understand the world better. There's no spoilers in them.

    What sucks about game of thrones is I feel like too many meat has been in the grinder in a way show truly marvel with that but it is such a shame to see tons of characters die left and right like Rose or Ned where you feel the potential. It both sucks and great the same time. Definitely a better to watch it with you guys than solo

    an interesting change from book-to-show is that being named to the Kingsguard is actually voluntary, like you can refuse it for whatever reason, especially if you're heir to a title. it's interesting because it partly changes how Jaime was sworn to the kingsguard

    There's one thing I want to explain, it's not spoilers but it is world building - the meaning of Valar Morghulis, literally "All Men Must Die" -

    The phrase comes from the Valaryian language (Daenerys' ancestors) is basically the Latin equivalent of the Game of Thrones world. The language spread all throughout where the Valyarians ruled. It's basically spread into the cultures all over Essos. It's basically the equivalent of saying "God be with you" in a lot of ways... but the meaning and how those who use it... that changes city to city, culture to culture, religion to religion

    I love how the pieces fall into place and when they all come together its like OH SHIT and trust me the OH SHIT moment is close were almost at IT (NO SPOILING BILLIES)

    This is my favorite episode for this season. The Tywin and Olynna scene where Tywin wins the battle of wits, the ending scene and Jon and Ygritte with that score playing, and that Petyr "Chaos is a ladder" speech. And that wasn't just a bar, that shit was a god damn verse lol.

       sure but if they reacted to 1 a week it would take 10months to finish the series. I would love if they reacted to 2-4 episodes but 2x a week.
