Eric recognizing that Crockers mom had a stingray just blew my mind. I have a 70's corvette so I caught it but I didn't expect any of them to catch that lol
wait.... when timmy was poofed into 80s clothing... was that the opening to.... Never Gunna Give You Up?
Crocker’s babysitter Vic is possibly Vicky’s Uncle and Vicky’s father is his younger brother who is around Crocker’s age and Timmy’s parents. Also Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda could at least be a bit nicer or somewhat sympathetic towards Crocker.
In case it’s unclear, this wasn’t a case of Crocker always losing his fairies no matter what on March 15 1972. The implication was meant to be that Timmy ALWAYS went back and screwed it up. If Timmy hadn’t gone back, Crocker would be normal. Timmy was the architect of both his own and Crocker’s misery. That’s why Crocker is so obsessed with Timmy specifically and is convinced he has fairies. Because while his mind was wiped, he still subconsciously knows.
Don’t want to get too dark but this is the best example I can come up with for this type of situation so trigger warning. Some people who get molested as kids block out the memory as adults but get uncomfortable when someone touches them and they themselves are not aware of why they get uncomfortable. Crocker knows who Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda are and knows that fairies are real but he doesn’t know WHY he knows these things.
In terms of when to stop this show, if you want to watch the best episodes of this show then you’ll want to watch seasons 4 and 5. There are four specials that are part of seasons 4 and 5 that are must watches.
I think the best time for them to finish the show is season 6 ending with the Wishology trilogy
Aw man I forgot about the Wishology trilogy. You’re right, they should stop there. I was just thinking of the Jimmy Neutron crossover trilogy and channel chasers when I wrote this comment.
Crocker’s origin episode was one of the best and most interesting they ever made. I’m sure comments have mentioned the show eventually gets worse. I personally think Seasons 4 and 5 were the show’s peak. However, For me and many others who stopped watching around 6 and 7;Unfun Fact: If you needed evidence that the later half of the series is worse, they retcon this entire origin story episode in Season 9.
Remember watching this episode as a kid and I always wondered if they remember what happened to Crocker they could at least be a bit sympathetic to him in the present timeline even though he did try to capture them multiple times and toke over the world that time. Ended up creating his own villain.
