   Tbf, Rose wouldn't know about the Daleks. So, she wouldn't know to be scared. Especially since the doctor didn't have time to tell her after he saw it. That said, it's probably good that she touched it since it got the doctor released from his torture.

   I honestly don't get why y'all think Rose was stupid. She didn't know what it was, and typically, when she and the Doctor run into this sort of thing, they try to help it. Also, isn't she like 19??

      They do try and help, much like the Dickens episode, but that's because those spirits were never meant to be on Earth, and thus aren't a critical point in time. Peter dying from a car crash on earth is a critical point in time, because Rose has to grow up fatherless when she runs into the Doctor. So Rose wanting to save her dad, while completely understandable why she did it, was completely reckless and stupid. Not to mention, her being who she is and what she'll become in the finale is the reason why 9 regenerated into 10, and why the next 2 companions after Rose did a much better job at making the Doctor more passive

   not only have there been other "stragglers" but in the old series, he's had assistants, he's had time lord companions, he's had a robot dog, there was a straggler that wasn't even from the universe, and I'm pretty sure there have been stowaways

   Yeah are so hard on Rose, lol. She's 19. How responsible were any of you at 19? She grows up as the show goes, so I hope y'all will come to appreciate her. She's in my top three companions, but not number one.

    I'm pleasantly extremely surprised. Based on the release speed of these the past 2 weeks, yesterday I predicted that we would get episodes 6 to 8 this week, 9 to 11 next week, and 12 and 13 the next, and then not get the Christmas special until the next. Never did I remotely expect to get the entire rest of the season already this week.
