    (Non-Spoiler Explanation) Anodyte DNA kinda doesn’t exist, long story short, they’re pure energy, because of that, Ben can’t scan them into the Omnitrix.

      i always interpreted it as since Verdona is Bens grandmother, he already has anodite DNA in him and so doesn’t have an anodite transformation for the same reason he doesn’t have a human one
