   The reason that HBO Max watch order is so different is because most streaming services tend to use the original airing order rather than the production order, so for millions of fans, we originally had to watch this episode immediately followed by the lighthearted pier episode. A lot of networks do this for cartoons for various reasons but with Ben 10 specifically, it was to prevent too many dark episodes from airing within the same few weeks of each other.
