You guys really do overthink everything, lol. A:TLA is an absolutely fantastic story, yes, but the narrative IS largely predictable for people who just actually do have a lot of experience with stories in general. It's really not any deeper than that. People who have a strong familiarity with classic tropes CAN see most of the plot elements coming. And that's not to knock on the story - it really is one of the best. But quite literally anyone who spends a massive chunk of their time immersed in narrative - reading fiction books OR watching tv shows or movies, cartoon or otherwise - can usually see where a given narrative is going. Classic tropes are classic for a reason, after all.
