It really must be said that Wakfu is VERY similar in vibe to Amphibia, up until the movie between Seasons 2 and 3. With season 4 right around the corner, this is the best time to get in on the action. Two caviats: watch it in French, English subtitled, and brace yourself for a slow first few episodes or so. It has that DnD setup vibe, but the designs are all so wacky and entertaining that it's bearable.
Wakfu has a PERFECT main villain roster, that in addition to breathtaking fights, could carry the series all on their own.
