Without vampirism Marceline will age, we saw this in farmworld. Her skin, ears, and teeth have all been the same since birth.

They do tell us who Simon got to try and take care of Marceline, but I cannot for the life of me remember where (mini-series, flashbacks, a book, IDK?)... so I ain't saying nothing until spoilers are no longer an issue!

With the Farmworld Finn episode we have already seen that Marceline will grow old if she doesn't have vampire powers. Remember she is only half demon.

Yeah, she will live MUCH longer than ordinary people (she's over 1000 years old in Farmworld,) but she still does age and will eventually die.

So the voice actor for Marceline is Rebecca sugar, and the song she sings is about Rebecca's real life stuffed animal that they left in the garden which got Sun damaged and caused them to go into an existential crisis. That stuffed animal is the inspiration for the character spinel in Steven Universe

Marceline is a half-demon half-human who got vampirism. Her dad is a demon not a vamp. This is why Marcie in that prismo wish world was super old, because she actually aged for 900 years without vampirism

it's not complicated guys... Marceline's mom was a Human and her Dad is a Demon... so she was born Half-Demon, and then she became a Vampire in her fight against the Vampire King.
Also... even tho it wasn't shown... it is heavely implied that the Person Simon sent to take care of Marceline was her own biological father Hunson Abadeer, i say it's heavely implied because Hunson cannot get to Ooo's dimension without someone summoning him out of the Nightosphere, and in the episode "Memory of a Memory" of Season 4 we see him hanging out in Ooo and eating Marceline's precious Fries (in that memory Marceline seems to be just a little older than she is when Simon abandoned her)... so Simon must've summoned Hunson thinking that he would fulfill his duty as a Father.
No Ruff.... Marceline didn't create the Rainicorns xdd, they come from the Crystal Dimension.
And i gotta say... it's a shame we never got to see that period of Time when Simon was under the Empress's Control, it had to be after the Mushroom War cuz vampires weren't prominent during Human Civilization, and also because the Empress describes Simon as a "Silverfox" which only works when Simon was onñy beginning to transform into the Ice King.
And finally... i don't know if you already figured it out but all the Major Vampires that Marceline once absorbed are named after Tarot Cards (with the exception of the Vampire King), The Fool, The Empress, The Hierophant and the other one who hasn't talked yet is called The Moon. This mini-series has a lot of symbolisms to talk about.

in case your wondering, marceline's mom in the flashback is voiced by Rebecca Sugar as well as writing the song "everything stays". She written the song based off an old toy she left behind when she was younger, but was still there just old and decayed. Not only did this inspire the song but was also an inspiration for the creation of Spinel in Steven Universe. The lyrics of everything stays compared to spinel's backstory is surprisingly similar

Marcy's Super Secret Scrapbook has a lot more details around the time Marcy killed the vampires. Y'all could definitely read it after this mini series. It's also surprisingly super sad too.
It's a really good book with great writing, and explores Marceline and Simon really well.

We know that Marceline will live for centuries because of her Demon blood alone, as seen in the Farmworld Universe. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether she ages at a slower rate than normal. I feel that it's important because Marcy seems to be in her early twenties by the time she's turned by VK, and she's already killed Empress by then. That begs the question of how long Simon served as her thrall, and why Marcy didn't run into Simon while they were together, unless they were separated when Empress was slain.

even the show forgets, man. like (spoilers sorta for Fiona and Cake) Mashell's mom owns a blood drive, but she is supposed to be Hudson, NOT a vampire, so she had nothing to do with BLOOD. and the ep "the Star", where's Hudson?? why is she calling the vamp king "daddy"???

also spoilers for fionna and cake
well i think fionna's world was reflecting each world they were in because of simon. like in the winter king episode, it began to snow in fionna's world. and when confronting the candy queen's subjects, gary was showing off all the pastries. i think the blood drive was happening because of the vampires. gary had even said he didn't remember that part of town being so "gothic" which was hinting at the world actively changing. as for "the star" (and this is just my personal interpretation) the vampire king was her father figure instead of simon so she started calling him that (i'm assuming hudson is still her bio dad but was never around). but just imo like the show for sure forgets stuff or retcons stuff but i feel like the choices in f+c were intentional
