No, Finn did not time travel. He just made an alternate timeline. Both the main timeline and the new timeline take place at the exact same time 1000 years after the war. The only difference being whether the bomb went off bringing the lich into existence 1000 years ago like in the main timeline, or if new timeline Finn set it off now

Hey, I don't think you caught it but in the beginning when you called the Greybals guy Glob he isn't. We meet Glob on the Mars episode awhile back. The four faced guy with the Red Helmet is Glob, its one of his four faces. The four faces all have different names and personalities Grob, Gob, Glob, Grod
I don't think the lich caused the bomb...i think the bomb going off killing countless lives is what created the lich. That's why it never went off when Finn wish for the lich to never have existed. So when 1 arm Finn set the bomb off, he unintentionally created the lich that manifested in his dog.
well you can't really get rid of the Litch and if Finn was more specific on how he never would have existed then maybe he could have stopped him

Just to clear up some of the confusions y'all had in the episode. Lets call the timeline we have been in since the beginning of the show, timeline A, and then lets call the alternate timeline that was created by Finn's wish, timeline B. In timeline A the Mushroom war was 1000 years ago, we know this because Marceline said she was 1000 years old in season 1 and in her flashbacks she is young right after the Mushroom War. In timeline B, we know the Mushroom War was still 1000 years ago because timeline B Marceline says she is 1000 years old, except this time, since Finn wished the Lich King never existed, the bomb never went off. The bomb never went off because Simon stopped the bomb. He did not do this in timeline A. As they say in the episode, after Simon stopped the bomb in timeline B, a 400 year ice age occurred. After the ice age ended, since we know the Mushroom War was 1000 years ago, that means 600 years pass. So what does this mean? In season 1 Finn says he is 12, we see him as a baby in his flashbacks, and we have even seen him discovered as a baby by Jake's parents, in that flashback, the dogs were talking so we know that it is post Mushroom War. Ruff's theory of Finn being thousands of years old or being a time traveler is pretty much baseless because of these facts. His theory is based on his idea that timeline B takes place 1000 years ago, when it doesn't. It takes place at the same time as timeline A. So, when Ruff says "that means Finn and Jake existed 1000 years ago" he is wrong.
It's really crazy how one entity in this show can drastically change reality. ALSO stop teasing the pigs if your not going to deliver! ??. But in all seriousness I cannot wait till yall get to obsidian.
