I very much agree with the sentiment that this is the absolute worst season of Rick and Morty, but I don't think it's a bad season. Doesn't have the worst episode (though it has one I think of as being in the bottom three and two in the bottom five), has some really high high points like the second episode of the season. However, I think its episodes that are neither peaks nor valleys are all on the lower end of average. But that's just me.

Welcome to the “worst” season of Rick & Morty! It’s not bad, there are just a few episodes that were pretty weirdly written, but the season was met with heavy contention from fans.
Season 7 I think has taken the worst season crown
i do feel like season 7 fell off a little bit but it is completely redeemed by the hole episode which is my personal favorite by far
Maybe the first half of 7 was iffy. But after that it was pretty good
