On the age thing, in Kim Possible one of the jocks (star QB yadda yadda) that most of the women at the school fawn over is a like 3 times super senior, mentioned when he finally graduates, so for those seasons he is around 21

I mean, aside from the neurodivergent misunderstanding social cue thing, I absolutely saw all the miscommunication bullshit in tv shows and went “fuck that shit” I made myself a fucking fantastic communicator so I didn’t repeat old plot tropes

"Do you think the person who wrote this theme song is still making money on people listening?"
That is the exact reason why, in all of Butch Hartman's shows, he co-writes the theme song. The residuals on TV reruns alone were crazy.

I feel like a really good complement to Danny Phantom is American Dragon Jake Long. It's a similar show, half human teenage protagonist, just with magical creatures instead of ghosts and they were airing at almost the exact same time, just one on Nickelodeon and the other on Disney.

Didn’t post a head canon for last episode because pretty much everyone is telling you guys about Ember Fright Knight is the physical ghostly manifestation l of Halloween though Johnny 13 and kitty were a biker couple in the 1980s who had a very strained relationship. Johnny did have a reputation of being unlucky having been expelled from school for carrying in a dangerous weapon and having a couple run in with the cops. He actually grabbed kitty from her senior prom one night while running from them, and they both died when he unluckily crashed his motorcycle into the back wall of the dark alley that he couldn’t see the end of because of the dark shadow casting over it

so if I'm peeping this right, you guys are going by production order, which is great... until season 2 lol. One MASSIVE recommendation is that y'all watch "Memory Blank" before any other season 2 episode, there's a MAJOR plot point that happens there, and watching any episode before then spoils it big time, the rest of the episodes should be fine though.

I was watching the show and Memory Blank came on as the first episode for Season 2. However, episodes 6 and 7 were after the second season 2 special instead of before like they should have been.

Once you guys finish this and Ben 10, I highly suggest yall check out 5 Years Later, it’s a Fan-Made comic about Ben 10 and Danny Phantom crossing over 5 years after each series ends. It’s recently been made into a Motion Comic on YouTube with a stellar voice cast, like KaiserNeko(DBZ Abridged) as Danny Phantom, Kellen Goff(My Hero Academia, FNAF Security Breach) voicing several aliens, and Paul Eiding, the actual voice actor for Max Tennyson, reprising his role.

Hey this is off topic, but have any of you heard of Lego Monke Kid. It looks is a pretty fun little serie with great animation. Not many people have reacted to it so it might be interesting. Either way great reaction to Danny Phantom. Thank you.

It's super weird that 13 is episode 13 in the code listings but is the 14th episode of the series.

They did that so Fright Night would be closer to Halloween at the time of airing

Not a high schooler, but I am a high school teacher. If anything, kids are generally obsessing over age gaps and how weird they are. When I teach Romeo and Juliet, the first thing I do is talk about how Juliet was 13(almost 14) and Romeo was around 16/17. They all freak out. Its more of a "if the grades don't touch neither should you" kind of thing.

Hey guys, in Danny Phantom season 2, on a lot of streaming services, they put s2 episode 8 before s2 episodes 6 and 7. I wanted to let you all know so you don’t accidentally watch it out of order if they did on the streaming service you all are using.

I don't want to turn this into a "Butch Hartman sucks" thread...but the best and arguably only cool contribution to the series from him were the 10 year later designs he did. Otherwise all I remember him adding are stupid inconsistent statements like none of the ghosts were ever people despite evidence to the contrary and the theme song says "Young Danny Fenton" instead of "Yo Danny Fenton"

I mean, when I was still religiously brainwashed I was big Butch Hartman fan. I made the mistake of donating to his stupid personal tv show app thing (the religious quality was something I considered a positive bonus at the time and now I wanna throw up thinking about it). Anyway, I didn’t get any of the rewards for my donations for months and they were pretty cheap. I was instantly wary, and gave up on him a couple months before I finally accepted my sexuality and slowly broke free of all the programming. Man has never won me back, and has only continued to show me that he has grown to only be interested in broadcasting religious ideology. I think at one point when he started working on Danny Phantom and fairly odd parents that he might’ve been more down to earth. But the fierce love people had for them went to his head and religion became his foremost weapon. I love adore Danny Phantom, so it’s really helped with learning how to separate a creator from their creations, especially one where so many people were involved
