In my experience Ren fair is about 50% medieval/ renaissance, 35% pirate, 14% steampunk, and 1% furries.

The Moon Sisters actually are a cover band. The original songs from the scooby-doo films and shows are the only official versions and you can get some of them if you buy the Witch's Ghost CD soundtrack, but that's the ONLY way to actually get the real songs.

It's been a while since I've been to Ren Fest (I can't do sunlight or nature any more orz), but at least since like... idk 2010ish there's been a Pirate's Day or Pirate's Weekend at my local Ren Fest. I haven't noticed any animosity either serious or joking from either knight people or pirate people--it's all just in good fun. I can grasp being a knights person and being annoyed if more pirate stuff was taking up knight space, but I don't sympathize with that annoyance. Ren Fest is a fun cacophony of centuries and genres of fashions anyway. Why should we draw the lines at pirates? :T

My dad dresses like a pirate at the ren fair all the time, he's weird but tons of people do it

The Moon Sisters are just a coverband. There wasn’t really any way to get good quality Hex Girls songs but they did some very accurate covers

Last episode: "Velma is controlling and abusive."

This episode: "You deserve better Velma!"

    Nah dawg

Ren fairs are ironically being invaded moreso by Star Trek fans. It's quite the strange predicament.

As someone who goes to Ren-fairs as a yearly thing, I have witnessed first hand the pirate takeover with my own eyes. I don't know who started it but i swear there are more pirates than knights now it's nuts lol.

I've been enjoying watching this series for the first time with you guys, but I gotta say, episode 7 is my favorite thus far. Grey Griffin is my all-time favorite voice actor and we FINALLY (10 years ago) got a role that let her actually sing a full song. This makes me so happy.

So far, I like what they done with all the characters in the show, except Daphne. I kind of feel like they backtracked on her character a little bit. She feels more like the Daphne from the original show in the movies and What’s new Scooby Doo She was much more useful to group.

Ren Fairs are absolutely full of pirates. Like, half of the stands are usually pirate themed. Though all the official shows and stuff are still Renaissance, you gotta go to a Pirate Fair for stuff like cannon battles instead of jousts.

Fred's idea of gender roles is hilarious and terrible

Gee I wonder why the song link for hex girls and crush didn't work. It's not like crush is just the band name for Daphne and that the hex girls aren't a real band

This series makes a lot of call backs to characters from the past. The Hex Girls are the best ones!

The Hex Girls were created by writers Rick Copp and David A. Goodman. The members are portrayed by Jennifer Hale, Jane Wiedlin, and Kimberly Brooks all voice actors and together they write and perform all the songs for the band. the have nothing to do with the moon sister. not sure what ruff's source is
