I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but Shaggy's dad is voiced by Casey Casem, the original Shaggy.
Also, yes, that is Lewis 'If it wasn't for the horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college' Black.

All I can hear is Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove whenever the sheriff is speaking. Anyone else?

Took me a few days to get through it, but I'm in. Never watched this series, but I'm intrigued and entertained enough to check it out. I look forward to going through with you guys on this.

Fun fact! The writers confirmed they wrote Fred to be autistic in this show, which is why he hyperfixates on traps and is pretty clueless to Daphne's flirting

Easily one of my favorite Scooby-Doo iterations. Along with the absolute best version of Velma. The dry snark is glorious

I very much now regret not actually watching the show when it first came out, but at last that was the time when I started to grow away from cartoons for a bit.

I just realized the random dude with the bowtie at the mystery museum looks like Don Knotts from the new Scooby Doo movies.

It’s weird that despite Scooby Doo being a mystery franchise, this is one of if not the only version that had an over-arching mystery. It’s probably the most interesting of any Scooby series, especially since the tone can go from 0 to 100 every time to main plot comes up. It also gets really dark sometimes, and I love it! Can’t wait until the story REALLY gets started!

Unfortunately Mystery Incorporated got cancelled which was so dumb and infuriating especially knowing that Velma gets renewed for a second season and that show is flat-out horrible, but Mystery Incorporated (which is obviously the best mature Scooby Doo show we’ve had) gets cancelled after only two seasons.

The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo had an overarching plot. Unfortunately it got cancelled. In 2019 they released a movie to finish it. Also Velma has an overarching plot…..if you want to count that.

I don’t count Velma. I feel like to count as a Scooby Doo series, Scooby Doo needs to be in it. Actually, the other characters aren’t even in that. They’re just random people who cosplay as the gang and use their names for some reason.
